Biblical Poetry in Translation. 3 credits (L-E). A study of the Hebrew
Bible as literature within the context of other ancient Near Eastern
poetry. Influence of biblical poetry on the Dead Sea Scrolls, New
Testament, medieval Hebrew poetry, and Jewish and Christian liturgies.
