103 Elementary Biblical Hebrew, I. Fall; 4 credits (EC). Meets with Hebrew 303. Prerequisite: none. 303 Elementary Biblical Hebrew, I. Fall; 3 credits (EC). Meets with Hebrew 103. Intended for juniors, seniors, or graduate students. Students may not receive credit for both Hebrew 103 and Hebrew 303. 323 Intermediate Biblical Hebrew, I.  Fall; 4 credits (IC). Prerequisite: Hebrew 104 or consent of instructor. Honors credit available--see instructor. 513 Biblical Texts: Poetry. (Crosslisted with Jewish Studies 513.) Fall; 3 credits (LAC). Meets with Hebrew 653. Prerequisite: Hebrew 324 or consent of instructor. Honors credit available--see instructor. 653 Wisdom Literature: Proverbs and Quohelet. Fall; 3 credits (LAC). Meets with Hebrew 513. Philological and literary study selections from the Hebrew text of Proverbs, Qohelet, and other works. Readings in the ancient translations. Prerequisite: Hebrew 514 or consent of instructor. 957 Linguistic Approaches to Biblical Hebrew. 2 credits. Investigations in the applications of modern linguistics theories and methods to the study of Biblical Hebrew. Prerequisite: 2 years of Biblical Hebrew & graduate standing or consent of instructor.
